The University of Mauritius (UoM), established in 1965, is the national, oldest, and largest university in Mauritius in terms of student enrollment and academic offerings. Its main campus is located at Réduit, Moka. The university was officially inaugurated on 24 March 1972 by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. UoM comprises six faculties:Faculty of Agriculture (the oldest, dating back to 1914)Faculty of EngineeringFaculty of Information, Communication and Digital TechnologiesFaculty of Law & ManagementFaculty of Ocean Studies (the youngest, established in 2014)Faculty of ScienceFaculty of Social Studies & Humanities.
