Botswana Institute of Geomatics
Formerly: The Botswana Surveying and Mapping Association (2017)
The Botswana Surveying and Mapping Association (BSMA) was established in 2001 and registered with the Registrar of Societies. It has since its onset grown in membership but more importantly in its contribution to the socioeconomic development of Botswana through involvement in key projects (i.e the NLR Project) and drafting the Geomatics Profession Bill. In 2017, BSMA restructured and re-branded to Botswana Institute of Geomatics.
