Orion Observasie Groep (OOG)

The Orion Observasie Groep (OOG), or Orion Observation Group, is an informal amateur astronomy club founded on March 8, 2003, in South Africa following a proposal by Serena Ingamells during an RSG Sterre en Planete event at Simonsvlei. The group was established to foster interest in astronomy among beginners and enthusiasts, with membership being free and no telescope ownership required.
