Overview
The CERD Ground Station serves as the primary Mission Control for Djibouti's Hydrosat constellation. It specializes in receiving high-frequency environmental data from a network of automated terrestrial stations (climatological and hydrological) spread across the country's remote regions. The facility is the cornerstone of Djibouti's "Project Hydrosat," which uses space technology to combat water scarcity and track climate change in the Horn of Africa.
