Khartoum North Ground Station

The Khartoum North Ground Station (also referred to as the Bahri Ground Station) is the primary control and data acquisition facility for Sudan's national space program. Operated by a specialized team of young Sudanese engineers, it processes satellite imagery used for national security, agricultural monitoring, and natural resource mapping. The facility represents Sudan's first step toward achieving autonomous space capabilities and digital sovereignty.
