By creating an account or using the Spacehubs Africa data platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. You must be at least 16 years old to use this Service.

3. Description of Service

Spacehubs Africa provides a directory and analytics platform cataloguing entities in the African space ecosystem, including companies, satellites, academic institutions, ground stations, R&D agencies, nonprofits, clubs, and international collaborations.

Some features require a paid subscription ("Premium"). Free access to overview data is provided at our discretion and may be changed at any time.

4. Accounts

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • You must provide accurate and complete information during registration.
  • You may not share your account or use it for automated scraping.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

5. Subscriptions & Payments

  • Subscription fees are charged in advance according to your chosen billing cycle (monthly or annual).
  • Prices are displayed in USD unless stated otherwise. Currency conversion is handled by your payment provider.
  • Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.

6. Acceptable Use

You may not use the Service to:

  • Scrape, crawl, spider, or otherwise copy or redistribute database content in bulk or in any automated fashion without explicit written permission.
  • Use any data, text, or results from the Service to develop, train, or improve any software program, algorithm, or machine learning model.
  • Create a competing directory, database, or analytics platform using information obtained from the Service.
  • Attempt to circumvent access controls or reverse-engineer the platform.
  • Upload malware or conduct automated attacks.
  • Violate any applicable law or regulation.

7. Intellectual Property & Database Rights

The Service, including its data compilations, selection, arrangement, analytics, and software, is owned by Spacehubs Africa and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. This includes "sui generis" database rights under applicable European Union law.

While factual data about third-party entities is curated from public sources, the collection, verification, and structuring of this data into the Service constitutes a proprietary database. Unauthorized extraction or re-utilization of the whole or a substantial part of the database is strictly prohibited.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of directory data. We are not liable for decisions made based on data provided through the Service.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Spacehubs Africa shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by Estonian law. Disputes shall be resolved by the courts of Estonia, without prejudice to your rights as an EU consumer under mandatory local consumer protection law.

11. Changes

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a prominent notice on the platform. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
