The African University of Science and Technology (AUST) is a private, pan-African, co-educational research university located in Abuja, Nigeria. Established in 2007, it was the first institution launched under the Nelson Mandela African Institutes of Science and Technology (NM-AIST) initiative, aimed at strengthening science and technology capacity across sub-Saharan Africa. AUST focuses exclusively on postgraduate education, offering MSc and PhD programs in key scientific and technological disciplines, including: Computer Science and Management of Information Technology Material Science and Engineering Petroleum Engineering Pure and Applied Mathematics Space & Aerospace Sciences Public Administration and Public Policy (MSc).
