Kyambogo University (KYU) is a large public university in Uganda, officially established in 2003 through the merger of Uganda Polytechnic Kyambogo, the Institute of Teacher Education, Kyambogo, and the Uganda National Institute of Special Education. Located on Kyambogo Hill in Kampala, the institution serves over 33,000 students and is organized into six faculties, six schools, and one institute, including the Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Science, Faculty of Agriculture, Faculty of Special Needs & Rehabilitation, Faculty of Arts and Humanities, and Faculty of Social Sciences.
