This laboratory was created in 2001, first as a branch of the LPAOSF in Saint-Louis. Permanent Teacher-Researchers, professors and lecturers, and associated researchers supervise thesis students and Master2 internships. The laboratory also relies on international collaborations, notably with LamMP (Clermont Ferrand), LOCEAN, LMI in Paris, IRIT in Toulouse, etc. The activities are divided into 4 parts: Climate aspect, Ocean Shutter, Radiation and Energy component, and Devices and Systems component.
