Overview
The Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency (LASEPA) is the primary environmental regulator for Lagos State, Nigeria, established on November 1, 1996, under the LASEPA Edict No. 9 of 1996 (now the Environment Management Protection Law 2017). Its main mission is to protect and improve the environment by assisting public and private organizations in achieving compliance through environment-friendly solutions, monitoring air and water quality, and enforcing regulations on waste disposal and emissions.
