Overview
Established in 2007, the Central African Forest Observatory (OFAC) is a specialized unit of the Central African Forests Commission (COMIFAC) that provides up-to-date and relevant data on the region's forests and ecosystems. Its goal is to inform policy decisions and promote better governance and sustainable management of natural resources. OFAC is supported by the EU-funded RIOFAC project.
