Monitoring Natural Resources and Food Security in Eastern Africa is a GMES and Africa initiative supporting East African countries to use Earth Observation (EO) data and technologies to monitor natural resources and food security. Implemented by the IGAD Centre for Pastoral Areas and Climate Change (ICPAC), the project leverages satellite-derived indicators to track crop conditions, pasture assessment, forest degradation, and water resources.
