L’Organization pour la mise en valeur du fleuve Sénégal (OMVS) est une organization intergouvernementale de développement créée le 11 mars 1972 à Nouakchott par le Mali, la Mauritanie et le Sénégal, en vue de gérer le bassin versant du fleuve Sénégal, bassin qui s’étend sur une surface de 289 000 km2. Son siège se trouve à Dakar.
