Ghana Planetarium
The Ghana Planetarium, located in Cantonments, Accra, one of the few digital planetariums on the continent. The facility operated as a premier educational hub for astronomy, welcoming approximately 25,000 visitors annually, primarily schoolchildren. However, due to rising operational costs, financial strain on the founders, and a change in land ownership that reclaimed the site for commercial development, the planetarium closed to the public in early 2023.
