Overview
The Sunyani facility is a multi-antenna ground station that serves as a critical hub for Earth observation and satellite tracking in West Africa. Established in 2015, it supports international space missions—most notably the COSMIC-2 constellation—and provides near-real-time data for national disaster management and agriculture. It is a key asset in Ghana's strategy to become a regional leader in space science and satellite data acquisition.
