Overview
The Mazowe Satellite Center (formally the Mazowe Earth Satellite Station) is Zimbabwe’s primary gateway for satellite communications and space operations. Located in the picturesque Mazowe Valley, approximately 40 km north of Harare, it has evolved from a telecommunications hub into the high-tech heart of the Zimbabwe National Geospatial and Space Agency (ZINGSA). The center is critical for national development, processing high-resolution imagery used for mining exploration, drought monitoring, and precision agriculture.
