Overview
The Optical Satellite Tracking Station (OSTS) is a specialized facility located at the Kottamia Astronomical Observatory (KAO). While the main observatory is famous for its massive 1.88-meter telescope, the OSTS was established recently to modernize Egypt’s space situational awareness (SSA) capabilities.
