Africa's space activity is unevenly distributed: established programmes in South Africa, Nigeria, Kenya, Egypt, and Morocco sit alongside a growing number of countries building their first satellite, ground station, or national space agency. Each country profile aggregates the companies, government agencies, academic institutions, satellites, ground stations, and international collaborations recorded for that country, along with a benchmark of how its recorded activity compares to the rest of the continent. Coverage depth varies by country as the database grows — some profiles are built out with satellite launch history and industry breakdowns, others are early-stage with only a handful of records. Every profile is updated as new entities are catalogued, corrections are verified, and owners claim and edit their own listings.
